EXPERTISE

Aneesha is a Barrister and Practising Solicitor as well as an International Mediator, Negotiator, Associate Arbitrator and Trainer. Her areas of expertise include off shore Contested Probate, Commercial and Residential Property Litigation, Forced Marriages and Commercial Contractual disputes.


Aneesha’s international work extends to her role as a conflict resolutor, negotiating Civil and Commercial disputes. Strategic and innovative in mind, scientist by initial education, she is proficient in understanding and structuring complex problems. She likes working with people in a multicultural environment, bridging different perspectives for better results. She has established connections across Europe, Asia, Africa and United Arab Emirates, with particular experience in India, Mauritius and the USA. She has promoted dispute resolution in Mauritius in conjunction with the Mauritius Supreme Court. 

EXPERIENCE

Aneesha is a member of the Union Internationale Des Avocats and was the lead speaker in Singapore in October 2017 on ADR Tourism. Aneesha was a finalist Judge in February 2020 for the largest global International Mediation competition hosted in Paris.


Aneesha facilitates a holistic approach in inter-faith, community and cultural disputes. She regularly attends scripture based dialogues and is an advocate for pluralism. Aneesha spoke in conjunction with Amnesty International and Anti-Slavery International on her experience with legal matters involving human trafficking. She has extensive experience with dealing with forced marriages, a topic she discussed on BBC Radio 2, also appearing on BBC Radio 4 and BBC Three Counties to discuss changes in legislation.
