EXPERTISE
His area of expertise includes but is not limited to: civil/commercial matters, family law, banking and finance, foreign investment, real estate, power and energy, employment, drafting legal agreements and contracts, immigration, mediation and international arbitration. He sits in different panels as an Arbitrator and acts as a Mediator extensively in diverse matters. Additionally, he is also a part of the ADR ODR International Mediation and Arbitration faculty.
He is also a specialist international sports lawyer and has more than 10 years of work experience as an adjudicator. He also leads London College of Legal Studies South, an Institute promoting the cause of English legal education in Bangladesh since 2005.
EXPERIENCE
Khaled has more than 25 years of standing as an Advocate of the Appellate Division of Supreme Court of Bangladesh. He is the Senior Partner of Chowdhury and Ullah, a leading set in Bangladesh. He is also a legal adviser for the Ministries of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment, of Roads and Bridges, Home Affairs and of Dhaka Metropolitan Police. He has a wealth of experience as a mediator and arbitrator in both domestic and international arbitrations.
MEMBERSHIP
Khaled, Barrister of Lincoln’s Inn, is an Accredited Mediator of CEDR & ADR ODR Int. Additionally, he is also a part of the Global Faculty at ADR ODR International.
Khaled is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London and a Fellow of Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), Malaysia. He is also an empanelled Mediator and Arbitrator at Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC) and SIMI.
Khaled is a Fellow of the CIArb, sitting in a number of panels in domestic and international commercial arbitrations. Khaled is an Associate Arbitrator at ADR ODR International.
